Resurrecting the Mammoth

A leading Japanese scientist sets out to Siberia to find a frozen mammoth and remove its sperm. He is hoping to impregnate an Asian elephant and recreate the prehistoric giant.  In a film that exposes the secret history of the mammoth, we explore the science of recreation and uncover a startling link between the plight of the Asian elephant and its extinct cousin, the Mammoth.
